You will HEARTly believe how easy they are!

Make sure to turn your volume on so you can hear the quick instructions. (I will include a list of supplies whenever possible. Handmade Greeting Cards - A Valentine's Staple

Up first is this super sweet Valentine's card project. Click the link to watch the short tutorial: Valentine's Card Project. Cards are a classic for this time of year, right? Whether we give them out to our classmates in grade school or to a loved one as an adult, the intention behind a card is always the same. You want to make that person smile and let them know they are special to you! In this project you will learn how to use a stencil and stencil butter from The Crafter's Workshop to make a gorgeous background that then layers up for this bold and beautiful card! Stencils help us all feel like "artistes" (said in my Frenchiest accent haha!), so I know you will just love how quick, easy and beautiful your project will be. Look at these rich tones of turquoise and blue and then fuchsia and orchid! I could see these cards in every color of the rainbow. You could even use a variety of sentiments and make a batch to give your Valentine as a gift!

There are a few different styles, and it can even be used as a pencil topper! You will be amazed at how easy it is to make these heartfelt cuties! Tuck a sweet treat inside, or fold up a cute little love note. These are really great, too, for slipping into someone's lunch for a mid-day snack and a smile!

Send a Love Note - DIY Message in a Bottle

Up next we have our first full-length video project (about 15 minutes), and boy is it a fun one! Many of us crafters know the value in saving bottles for that "you never know, I may need it" craft, right? Well today is the day to dust them off and make something fun! We will be using mini wine bottles to make the cutest Valentine's themed DIY Message in a Bottle gifts! How cute is that??

You could, of course, make these for any other special occasion, too. (Or if you're anything like me, make them for absolutely any reason at all! Got the roast in the oven early? Celebrate! Kiddo hit a homerun? Celebrate! Left the house with shoes on and not slippers? Definitely celebrate!) They make great gifts for all ages, just make sure the wine is gone first or we may have to make some apology gift baskets, too! Haha!

Learn how to upcycle a mini wine bottle to make a beautiful gift for that special loved one with a real note insides. I made these for my children, but they can be given to anyone you love in your life!

Talk About Love - Valentine Conversation Stones

Our final Valentine's gift for today is a fabulous project that really captures the feeling of love for our fellow humans! It is a perfect gift for quite literally anyone--even a stranger! We are making Etched & Colored Valentine Conversation Stones! This is a low budget craft that's perfect to make with your littles. They will have an absolute blast drawing and decorating on the stones and then leaving them around school for random schoolmates to find! It's also a great "task" for them when you're out running errands--you can fill the grocery cart with the healthy cereals while they are tucking a stone in between two boxes of their favorite morning sugar rush. (Ok, we know you're going to grab a box of the sugar, too, but that's just between us. Nobody needs to know! wink)

I love the idea of leaving a little art for people to find - so i made some little etched glass stone conversation hearts for Valentines day - so easy and kids love to make them too!!!
